Director of the Agricultural Department,
His Excellency the Governor has viewed with great satisfactia
the success with which the Agricultural Show, recently held in
this city, was conducted. This result is chiefly due to the ju-
dicious organisation and Indefatigable activity of the Department
of Agriculture to which the preparations of this Show, the first
held in this Territory, were entrusted.
His Excellency has therefore instructed me to inform you
and others persons interested, that the Staff of the Agricultural
Department, especially the Director and the Assistant Director
of Agriculture and the two Secretaries of the Committee who
organised the Show,are to be commended for the intelligence,zeal
and attention shown in the execution of the service above men-
tioned.
